Our drive starts on

The trees have yet
to leaf out.

We take the ramp on
the left to Interstate

around Richmond.

Eric pulled into a
Flying J for diesel
fuel & propane.

Spotsylvania is named for
Colonial Virginia's

from 1710 to 1722.

There's smoke
ahead....

A car fire...

Someone's having
a really bad day.

We felt the shock wave when
the gas tank exploded.

The EZPass Express ramps
are on the left.

This run of noise barrier
walls has a door in  it.

The cut away of the limo
on the side of the building
is eye catching.

Eric & I are continuing
 around Washington D.C.

The George Washington
National Masonic
Monument is in
the distance.

Elevated highway ramps &
construction cranes

We cross the Potomac River
on the Woodrow Wilson
Memorial Bridge.

Entering Maryland....

This state has the most
colorful state flag.

After traveling north on
Maryland Route 337...

We turn onto Maryland

Horses on the water tower
at the Show Place Arena.

Eric & I are returning to
 in Lothian, Maryland.

We have plans to return to Annapolis for a tour with Squire Frederick and have plans to visit the U.S. Capitol, a couple of museums and some monuments in Washington, D.C.
